NOTES ABOUT PAINTINGS

Of course, we can always consider each work as an intermediary between two others. But each has its truth, each is a world. And even if a series appears to be emerging every time the painting is being experienced as unique as the last.

I noticed in one of my notebooks:  2008, the year "in praise of light"

It is with these works were born in “one shot”, where the white paper or canvas is becoming more and more space.
As my friend Thomas says: “I love the white”.

Reflection before the "series of  blue nude":

My painting is open to anyone, anyone, who loves painting.
In our time, it sounds elitist to say then that this is just common sense. There are so many people who paint in an attempt to interest those who have nothing to do with painting.

Rather than a new language, speak a language of its own, unique, inimitable. And the search for clarity will come of itself if only we had to say something of how the simplest, most understandable, the one closest to the "vision". Without this "vision" the rest is meaningless, at worst it is an aesthetic work.
Remember it is not enough to be obscure to be deeper, often one that is obscure.

I have no agenda. I paint until it gives something. And this may last long or get a single stream.
I must "simply" reflect balance, harmony, light, strength contrasts, shapes and their meaning is to say, their power of suggestion, their depths historical and psychological and certainly still plenty of other things that my soul feels and beyond my reason.
